i discovered it is not the cooking that i dislike, it is the lack of a dishwasher other than my hands. actually, it is not even the washing (who doesn't like warm, sudsy water?) it is the nightly hours spent doing it.
peace came with every knead of the warm dough my hands formed into crescents.
