Merry Christmas, Birthday Wishes.

Camille and Gabe made their own stockings this year. They didn't have any and in past years have used "Woof" and "Meow," our dog and cat's stockings that are in the same style as ours. Bryn and Sebastian joined our family long before Camille and Gabe came. The kids (or should I say animals) didn't mind sharing.

Camille loved passing out her birthday christmas tree cookies to her classmates. She decorated napkins with stamps to go with them.
Camille's Gingerbread House. Her Kindergarten class made these the last week of school before break. I like the candy cane chimney.
Gabe's preschool Christmas party. Candy cane pancakes. Yum!
Gabe's Preschool Christmas Program. We practiced the songs he was going to sing all week. I would hear him singing in his room and all throughout the house. When they paraded onto the stage, I was ready with the video camera and he didn't sing one word. I did catch his face when they announced Santa was coming around the corner. He looks a bit apprehensive and not sure what to expect. For FHE we asked ourselves what gifts we could give to Jesus.
We wrote our answers on angels to hang on the tree.
Dad: Patient, Love Everyone, and Forgive.
Mom: Always be Teaching my Children about Jesus by following His Example, Be Kind, and Show Love.
Camille: Be Nice to Gabe, Pray, and Love People.
Gabe: He would give Jesus a motorcycle.

Camille leading us in our rendition of Away in a Manger.
Christmas Eve.
The excitement of milk and cookie pajamas!

Gabe set up camp with some boats, dumptrucks, dollhouse people, and his new cabbage patch doll from Grandma and Grandpa!
Happy 6th Birthday, Camille!
Gabe's face says it all.

Fancy Nancy.
Christmas breakfast. Brett made Swedish Pancakes, rolled with homemade blackberry-raspberry jam and topped with whipped cream.
These are so good!
Hot Chocolate moustache!
I looked through the kitchen doorway and saw Gabe playing with Camille's new Fancy Nancy dress up shoes. He grabbed those as soon as she was out of sight. He told me they were the car wash for his little man and car. I thought this was a pretty creative use for bright red shoes. This is the sparkliest car wash I have ever seen.

Birthday cupcakes!

Camille and Keaton.
Frosting is the best part!

We like to ROCK with Rockband. Gabe trying to keep up with his older cousins.

Snow Light, Snow Bright...

First snow. We venture OUT from hibernation. It is 6 degrees warmer and it feels like a summer afternoon. Okay, how about an early spring morning and we are wearing long johns.Winter is alive. We run, spin, and slide.
Refreshing!
Gabe headed inside (he lasted longer than I thought since he is always cold and we usually have to bribe him with chocolate) so Camille and I took a lovely sled walk.
We saw these bird tracks everywhere along with endless opened walnut shells.
Bryn loves to send snow whisking into the air with a dig of her nose.
When we returned we put the final touches on our snowman from things we collected on our walk.
